I have received an email from Narrative. And according to that, the Narrative Clip 2's firmware was updated last evening.
-Wifi upload speed is "vastly improved"
-Double-tap-to-capture time reduced
-Double-tap sensitivity tuned to be a bit more easy to tap
and something all Narrative Clip 2 users has waited
-Longer battery life
At this point, I have no idea how long can the battery life now last with the new firmware. Let's see let's see.
To update the firmware, plug the Clip 2 to the power source and connect it to wifi. Make sure that the battery is at least 75% charged. Then keep the Clip 2 connected to the power source for at least 20 minutes for the update to download.
Narrative Uploader application also has an option in its "General Settings" with a checkbox under "Narrative Clip Firmware" which says "Upgrade your connected clip automatically".
Update: Clip Software version went up from v0.16.0_beta4 to v0.17.0_beta5
なぜだか知らないがファームウェアの更新内容に関する内容のメールがNarrativeの人から来てた。
それによれば
・Wifiアップロード速度がかなり改善された
・ダブルタップでキャプチャーの time reduced （どういうことだろ）
・ダブルタップの感度が簡単にタップできるように調整された
そしてNarrative Clip 2ユーザーすべてが待ち望んだ
・バッテリーライフがより長く
いったいどれだけバッテリーが長持ちするようになるのかは試してみないとわからないが。
ファームウェアをアップデートするには、Clip 2を電源に接続し、Wifiにつながっていることを確認。少なくとも75％以上バッテリーが残っていることを確認しよう。ファームウェアのアップデートがダウンロードされるまで少なくとも20分以上電源に接続したままにとのこと。
一応デスクトップアプリのNarrative Uploaderの「Settings」内の「General Settings」にも「Narrative Clip Firmware」項目があり「Upgrade your connected clip automatically」というチェックボックスがある。
アップデート: Clip Software のバージョンが v0.16.0_beta4 から v0.17.0_beta5 になった。
